Reilly has qualities that make you hate him if you play against him, or he’s on the enemy side. He’s also a guy you would kill to be able to play with or have on your side, and he does it without being a big mouth, or Twitter bragger. Class guy who gets universal respect throughout the league! His HC, No-Class Maas could learn a lesson or two….

Ray is the same type, in fact all the nominees were class acts this year. Can’t fault any of the winners.

One of the classiest players (if not THE classiest player) in the entire league. Great speech, too. Love Mike Reilly – he definitely deserves the award.

Hard to imagine that Ricky Ray has never won MOP in his entire hall-of-fame career. Arguably the best quarterback of his generation. I guess over the years, while he’s always been one of the best, there’s always been someone else who stood out on that particular year more. As someone else on this site said – Ricky Ray winning would have been because of his lifetime achievement, not this year’s achievement.

Can’t really argue with any of the award recipients this year – all were deserving of their awards.

Reilly has had a very good season – a deserving recipient. One could argue that Ray had a more consistent year (with a number of his receivers dropping passes in the end zone, and an injury keeping him out of one game plau). Ricky will experience more than a tad consolation if the Scullers end up raising the ultimate prize.
