Riders RB Trent Richardson back at practice in advance of West semi

Trent Richardson participated fully in Riders practice Wednesday.

He was wearing a walking boot after getting injured in Saskatchewan’s Week 19 game against Montreal. The boot was believed to be a precautionary measure. Chris Jones warned that although Richardson was on the field, he’s not 100 per cent after sustaining a lower-body injury two weeks ago.

The 27-year-old rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries in the Riders’ win over the Alouettes, Richardson’s first 100-yard performance in the three-down league. His lower-body injury caused him to sit out the Riders final regular season contest.
