Montreal Alouettes

Riders heaviest betting line favourite of CFL season hosting Darian Durant

Darian Durant returns to Riderville as a large underdog.

Saskatchewan hosts Montreal as a 17-point favourite, which by all accounts is the biggest CFL line in 2017.

The Riders dropped a 17-16 decision when kicker Tyler Crapigna missed a last-play field goal in Montreal Week 1. The Alouettes were seven-point favourites in that game, which equals a 24-point swing in the line from 18 weeks ago. After a 0-2 start, the Riders are 9-5, including an impressive win over Calgary at McMahon Stadium last week. While Montreal has lost nine straight games and come off a blowout loss to Hamilton on their home turf.

Traveling to Regina likely factors into the line with the Riders being at home, plus the Als are 0-7 on the road. Either way it’s clear from the line difference Week 1 to Week 19 that each franchise’s seasons went opposite directions.
