Ottawa defensive back Jerrell Gavins had to be carted off the practice field on Tuesday, which wasn’t a good sign.
And it turns out he’s suffered a significant injury.

One of the original Redblacks has been a mainstay on defence and made 41 tackles with one interception so far in 2017. In four seasons, Gavins has 167 defensive tackles, seven interceptions, three forced fumbles and one sack.
