If he was smart he would have made sure its front loaded because Jones will be asking him to take a pay cut by March.
McMahon has the extra wear and tear of playoff football every year. That deficiency keeps the Mosiacs fresh!
Also think of how hard it was on the old girl when 45,000 simultaneously fell to their knees and rolled around in tears after experiencing the most embarrassing and humiliating moment in sports history….ouch..sorry..still too soon?

What else would a Weyburn SK born and raised player want to do! Brendan thanked the Bombers for drafting him and his 3 years in Winnipeg. However LaBatte wanted to join the Riders at the end of his 3 year contract with the Bombers. When your family and the house you call home is located about 100 kilometres from Mosaic Stadium. It’s not too hard to understand.
Just like Fantuz wanted when his second contract was over in SK. He wanted to go back to the Hamilton area.
The only difference between the 2 is Brendan has won a GC with his second team. By spanking Fantuz and Burris when they headed to old Mosaic in 2013. Brendan is still in the top 5 lineman of the league. Plus due to injury. Brendan played center this year. It was at that point (2-4) SK found it’s groove. Now back to left guard for the Stamps game. It shows how important he is at his own position. I’m glad he will play out his career at home where he belongs.
I mentioned old Mosaic Stadium earlier. Right now the old girl is in the middle of being dismantled. You wouldn’t recognize her at all. I was looking at the derelict structure yesterday. Unrecognizable, yet it reminded me of another derelict looking stadium and then “click” it came to me. In its state of disrepair it looks exactly like McMahon in Calgary.

Given that no player contract is a guarantee of employment, I wonder why he would sign a 4 year contract. Jones has a tendency of releasing players deemed to expensive or who lose a step in ability. Hope it works out for him.
