Riders’ Makana Henry delivers late hit on Bo Levi Mitchell

Calgary quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell took a late shot from Riders defensive lineman Makana Henry that forced the Stampeders franchise pivot from the game for the end of a drive and then he came back for one series before throwing an interception touchdown and exiting the contest.

Mitchell was picked off by Ed Gainey who returned it for a touchdown, but the roughing the passer call wiped that play off the board. Henry drove Mitchell into the turf with a hard, low tackle. No. 19 absorbed the contact, got looked at on the sidelines and returned to the game.
