Reporters have to ask the questions and I think Chris Jones answered them as he should.

He said there was some sort of altercation today.

He’s more of the school that suggests that in football these things happen.

As to Carter not playing or playing he said this:
Jones: “Our roster will be decided later in the week.”
Anyone who thinks Duron Carter isn’t playing Friday, please contact me about the bridge I’m selling real cheap – just for you.

Just an observation. One year ago in Montreal, the stories came out about Duron Carter fighting with Rakeem Cato. Almost everyone on here thought it was hilarious and exactly what Montreal deserved for having a loose cannon on their team. So now, when the same type of thing is reported in Saskatchewan, the reporters are stupid, lying, blowing it all out of proportion and it is certainly not funny. Too many stories about it and we all should just let it go. The reporters are all out to get the Riders. Were they out to get Montreal last year? Truth is most of you expect the Riders to be treated specially. If any team signs someone like Duron Carter, their fans should expect the extra publicity because he will undoubtedly do something stupid on a regular basis. Don’t shoot the messenger unless you are also prepared to defend other teams with similar stories.

Total non-event blown waaaay out of proportion by Madani. As the Regina Rams coach(?) said on the radio when asked about the incident today, he’d rather have a tight grip on the reins than to require a cattle prod. I hope the boys have that much spirit and fight in them this Friday!
