That was the fourth start for Jones in his NFL career, third in six games this season. He originally signed with the Giants in 2015 after winning the Most Outstanding Rookie and Most Outstanding Lineman awards in successive CFL campaigns (2013 and 2014). Jones spent 2015 on New York’s injured reserve, then backed up at centre and guard with one start in 2016. The University of Regina and Weyburn Comprehensive high school product has earned a lot of respect among the Giants.
