Bombers lose leading receiver Darvon Adams with shoulder injury

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have lost leading receiver Darvin Adams to injury – and it doesn’t look good.

Less than three minutes into the game Adams went over the middle and was rocked by B.C. Lions defensive back Anthony Thompson, who levelled him with a shoulder-to-shoulder hit. Adams left the field favouring his left shoulder and went to the Bombers locker room. He returned to the bench in civvies, his arm in a sling under a sweatshirt.

The Bombers are 10-4 heading into today’s game and can lock up a home playoff date with a win and an Edmonton loss against the Argos later on Saturday.
