Redblacks receiver Brad Sinopoli scratched for Riders game

Brad Sinopoli has been scratched by Ottawa as the team takes on the Riders without their star Canadian receiver Friday night.

Sinopoli has been dealing with a shoulder injury. He is enjoying his third-straight 1,000-yard receiving season in red and black. The 29-year-old has 3,694 yards and 12 touchdowns since switching from quarterback to receiver.

He has recorded his third-straight 1,000-yard receiving season in red and black. The 29-year-old has 3,694 yards and 12 touchdowns since switching from quarterback to receiver.

The last time Sinopoli played in Regina he had 156 yards and two touchdowns on five catches. So Rider fans are probably pleased with him being out of the Redblacks lineup.

It’s just the second game Sinopoli has missed in three seasons in the nation’s capital.
