Eskimos make John Chick a healthy scratch on Thanksgiving

John Chick was a healthy scratch for Edmonton on Thanksgiving Monday.

After being acquired from the Hamilt0n Tiger-Cats in a last-August trade, the 34-year-old defensive end played in five games for the Eskimos and did not record a sack. With Phillip Hunt coming off the injured list, he missed two games, Chick was scratched in his favour.

Chick made two sacks in eight games for Hamilton this season. Just one year ago, he put up 14 sacks which tied for the most in the East Division. So his production has certainly gone down.
