LOL. I’ve seen professional ping-pong back hand shots with less spin on them than your comment. You were clearly answering a question of why a player was not placed on the six-game, not why a player was taken off the six-game or why a player was left on the six-game.

So a 250 lb linebacker crashing down into a gap and crushing a running back has no more physical bearing then a 180 lb db hitting a receiver. I think I would rather take a few hits from a DB over a line backer. Thank you very much. Some of those linebackers aren’t running that much slower than a DB. Just saying.

Because they are preparing for the worst. And if the injury doesn’t turn out that way, it won’t hurt to pull them off early. Aka having cap space to move around with.
