Argos bring in LB Khalil Bass

Toronto has brought in linebacker Khalil Bass, per sources.

Bass was released by the Redblacks on September 15 after signing in Ottawa as a free agent in February. The Portland State product made 39 tackles and two sacks in 11 games for the Redblacks this year.

The 27-year-old spent two seasons with the Blue Bombers where he burst into the CFL scene. Bass made 99 tackles, five sacks, one interception, one touchdown and forced one fumble in 2015 and followed that with 82 tackles, four sacks, four forced fumbles, two interceptions and one touchdown in 2016.
