Indeed. In Ottawa alone, he lasted something like two drives in pre-season and less than a game in regular season. Dude’s made out of popsicle sticks.

As for Lindley, I think he’s the type that’s around because of his character. He may make a great coach one day, yet he seems unable to perform on the field. It may be his first year in the CFL but it’s his pro numbers overall are pretty underwhelming. I see no cause for confidence there but who knows, maybe the light finally comes on with a full week of practice, better conditions, the return of Criner, and so on.

i liked willy too but he was bad for holding on to the ball too long, it’s why he was hurt all the time too

I believe he was referring to Drew Tate and his ability to stay injury-free. Tate when healthy, can be a good QB but tends to only stay healthy for about a quarter and a half before getting hurt…again.

What do you mean as usual? the guy has had ONE start in the CFL on the road in Winnipeg in horrible monsoon conditions.
He was missing open receivers but then experienced QBs like Durant miss open receivers too.

I think they’ll both play. They’ll start Lindley but if (when) he struggles, they’ll throw Tate in. He’ll last about a quarter and a half, as usual.
