Yeah… Charleston Hughes will never be mistaken for a shrinking violet, but that’s not his style at all. Flamboyant, confident, a warrior. He is what he is, and we’re quite happy to have him, thanks.

I expect a different result, but you know what? I like your team, too. If Winnipeg has success, I’ll hate that the Stamps didn’t get it done, but it’s difficult to dislike the Bombers. O’Shea has built a good squad, and I’m very happy for Matt Nichols, whom I thought had potential when he was here in Edmonton. He is the poster boy for never quitting, and at this point he’s the odds-on favorite to win the MOP this year. I can’t find it in me to not feel good about Winnipeg and Nichols having success. But I’ll surely feel some relief when the Stamps win the Grey Cup they should have won last year, and we can get on with fulfilling our dynasty, hehe.

Interesting, considering the Eskimos almost seem to have gone from talking about an unbeaten season to an afterthought in a matter of a little over a month.

Point taken, though, as I have a great dislike for the Esks but great respect for Mr. Reilly. That they will face each Western team the rest of the way means they will either stand up and be counted, or get swept under an embarrassing carpet.

Insightful comment, you are so right about Bridge’s arm strength opening things up. I think he’s your best option, to be truthful (and I’m a KG fan), but Calgary put limited game planning in for him. They might add a wrinkle or two for the next game against him.
