In reply to dangnabbit. I get all that, the Gizmo was/is an icon, would hate to see his record lost by some who doesn't have the years of entertainment and who has earned the respect by a rediculis amount of people. All records must fall, I just hope not now

In reply to Blue Rules. That's his current pace - his 1,009 yards came in ten games (thus about 101 yards/game) since he was suspended for two. He in theory has six games (but possibly less should the Stamps rest him at the end of the season) to make the remaining 431 yards. At this clip, he only needs four.

Catching the Giz is highly unlikely. He was a talent and played at a time when coverage wasn’t coaches and schemed like today.

Tall order to surpass Gizmo (actually I hope he doesn’t, until Roy proves himself over and over for several years) needs to average just over 100 per game. Still best of luck. GO RIDERS GO take it by 4.
