Saskatchewan has brought receiver and return man Jacoby Ford to the province’s capital, per sources.
The 30-year-old was a fourth round draft pick in the 2010 NFL draft by the Raiders. Ford played four seasons in Oakland, recording 57 receptions for 848 yards and three touchdowns while rushing 19 times for 201 yards and two touchdowns. He returned 75 kick-offs for 1,874 yards (25-yard average) and four touchdowns plus nine punts for 77 yards.
Ford went to training camp with the New York Jets in 2014 and Tennesse Titans in 2015. He was released among Edmonton’s final cuts in 2016 and had a stint on Montreal’s practice roster last year too.
