Riders set to bring in former Redblacks receiver/returner Daje Johnson

Saskatchewan is set to bring in receiver and returner Daje Johnson, per sources.

The 23-year-old is a CFL rookie who originally signed with Ottawa in May, played two games for the Redblacks, returning nine punts for 96 yards, three kick-offs for 57 yards and one missed field goal for 24 yards. But Johnson has yet to record a catch. He was released by Ottawa in August.

Johnson went undrafted in the 2016 NFL draft and attended Atlanta Falcons rookie mini-camp, but he did not make it through training camp.
