The Stampeders are a fantastic franchise but their lack of adversity most seasons hurts them come playoff time because they’re so used to crushing everyone.

The Riders have struggled through much of the last 30 years, save some really magical seasons.

The Stamps are the elite team in the CFL but they have choked hard at times. Not a jab but a truth. But at least you had a shot.

In reality, the Stamps are the Yankees and the Riders are the Red Sox of the early 2000’s learning how to be Yankees.

Most Stamps fans are cool people. Donkey is a dipshit because all he does is troll.

The coolest fans are the ones who love their teams but also realize their self-worth isn’t tied to their team, so they don’t need to be a constant douche. Hence why Donkey is a detriment to the Stamps and their real fans. There’s shitty Rider “fans” too but Donkey is definitely in the elite of crappy fandom.

I for one have definitely enjoyed the home games I’ve gone to for the past couple of years. This weekend I’ll have the added pleasure of seeing my team in the visitors’ new barn. I’m sure it’ll be a blast.

I think the Riders had a party going on in some boardroom somewhere in Toronto during Grey Cup week.

As for the game itself – the only green to be found anywhere was the turf. That will probably be the case again this year.

With horsie on this site, I’ll take that as a compliment on my dedication to my team. Seriously, though, call it whatever you want, but all I know is: when I pay to sit in a stadium and watch my team play, they win. When everything is on the line at the end of the year, my team always has a shot at GC glory. Arrogance? Sure, go ahead, call it that.

Dynasty? Back in the day? You mean those things that happened back when the Berlin Wall was still a thing and people were driving their Datsuns home from the Gainers plant in Edmonton to catch the game on itv?
