Eskimos defensive back Garry Peters got his ankle rolled up on and he was forced to leave the game against Calgary.
That means Edmonton’s two starters on the short side of the field in the secondary were injured, cornerback Mercy Maston went down with a torn Achilles in warmups.
Peters was suspended one game earlier this season for making contact with an official. The 25-year-old second-year Eskimo recorded 35 tackles in eight games so far in 2017.
