The Hamilton Tiger-Cats game against the Toronto Argonauts at Tim Hortons Field was delayed for more than two hours because of lightning.
Game officials sent players from both teams off the field at 7:32 p.m. after a nearby lightning strike. Heavy rains soon followed. The Argos led 6-0 with 8:15 remaining in the second quarter when the stoppage occurred.
The game resumed at 9:40 p.m. after a delay of more than two hours.
