Don’t know if there was any to start with, but the Ticat football minds are obviously running on empty. They have run out of ideas on how to improve this club and are just toying with marketing gimmicks now, like bringing in Manziel, to get more bums in the seats to watch a very bad football team that is poorly coached and managed. Yet, they ultimately determined that based on the shape ‘Johnny Football’ is presently in, it would just be too obvious to Cat fans and wouldn’t work anyway. Thank goodness!

I’m sure that more nonsense like this will continue until they’re all let go at some point this year. They probably even have someone in the org dedicated to reading this blog just to get ideas (Like bring in Manziel) on how to possibly improve the team. That’s just how bad it really is! The present state of the Ticat club … Really, really bad, like the smell of Burlington Bay years ago.

They make reference to Manziel’s “off-field regiment”. I suspect they mean “regimen”, unless Manziel is preparing to lead troops into battle. So some of it is lifestyle and not specific to football.

As for Briles, even if he were completely innocent (which I don’t believe) but crucified by the court of social media, did you not anticipate the reaction to the announcement of his hire? Well, then, the Ticats should have as well.

The team is 0-8…new coaching staff and they’re wasting on these ridiculous adventures…

Nothing better to do…guys…like spending time on assisting the quarterbacks…trying to find better O linemen….

CC The red flags in this case relate to his ability to play football. The red flags in the Briles case … well they have nothing to do with the guy’s ability to contribute … they have to do with dealing with the howling mob.
