I agree completely. The team sure doesn’t need a distraction like THIS! Plenty of negative backlash out there already – including sponsors! Players shouldn’t have to deal with this issue either. Not a good look for a team that prides itself on character and family values.

do some reading beyond the boards. read excerpts from the recent book. read articles from the time … don’t require other people to lay everything out for you. make some effort. i did.
and learn how to spell. try ‘worst.’

Agreed. I did not read anywhere that he was convicted of anything. If he is, by all means, get rid of him. We do not need that but I read that he is suing Baylor for wrongful dismissal.

Fed up with fans…I agree. This thing has been blown way out of proportion. Social media can be very beneficial and very damaging. One big $hit load of people are attempting to derail a situation that they are not qualified to speak about in a public forum. Lip service for the sake of humanity. I love my wife and had many women work for me. To me they are equals. This has gone beyond punishment. Let’s wait for the Ticats and the League to make a sensible response. Remember, Mr. Briles is not a rapist period.
