The CFL is launching TV ads as part of their Diversity Is Strength campaign.
The league unveiled t-shirts sporting the message last weekend, accelerating the launch of a previously planned campaign in the wake of the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia. The T-shirts feature the words “Diversity is Strength” on the front and “A league of what we’re made of,” on the back with surnames of many current and former CFL players and personnel.
Proceeds from the sale go to the CFL Alumni Association and Purolator Tackle Hunger and they are available in limited quantities at some team stores around league and online.
The ad is available in both English and French and will air on TSN and RDS during Week 9 broadcasts.
