The top three Canucks really stood out on Week 8.
Two of them had strong efforts in wins for their respective teams.
1. Andrew Harris, RB, Winnipeg Blue Bombers
The Canadian back record his first 100-yard ground game of the season with 107 rushing yards on 14 carries. He added two catches for 21 yards, which tied his lowest reception total on the year. Harris has been a consistent producer season to date.
2. Antoine Pruneau, DB/LB, Ottawa Redblacks
Since being moved from safety to strong-side linebacker, Pruneau has produced. A five tackle, one sack and one interception effort was impressive.
3. Hugh O’Neill, K/P, Edmonton Eskimos
Sean Whyte went down and O’Neill has stepped up. The 2011 second round pick nailed four-for-five field goals and punted for a 49.6-yard gross average in Ottawa. Edmonton came away with another narrow win, so those points were much-needed.
