The Lions were not ready to play – the coach said that. They refused to listen to him. Too cocky and it looks like he just let them be like that and walked out of the dressing room. Good move, I hope because if I were a player I’d be pretty pissed off with how it went. I’d be looking to crank it up to beyond ready for the next game. And that happens to be the Stamps who are a better team. Unless BC has some issues that haven’t come out, I think they will be well beyond ready for each game in the near future.

Wally is a brilliant coach, I have no idea though how in heck Saskatchewan played that well. They made the Lions look silly..

Is this the first B.C. game you have watched? Wally never wears a headset, doesn’t call plays from the sideline (he leaves that to his OC), doesn’t converse much with his assistant coaches. All normal for the winningest coach in the CFL. The interesting part was that he knew before the game started that his team was not good to go.

What’s wrong with Buono?
He gave a terrible pre-game speech, he doesn’t coach from the sidelines, doesn’t call plays, no headset, no contact with the assistant coaches.
He just stands on the sidelines?

Well, we stunk the place out tonight. You may need a week to air out the place before next game. Got outplayed EVERY aspect of the game. Keep wondering if they figured they just had to show up and mentally were actually looking ahead to next game. Agree with Evil, you cannot take a night off and expect to win. Talent is useless unless it is being driven by work
