Yeah, they have a target on their backs due to the Cup win, healthy club, but the challenge is the only way of getting someone to look at it and overturn. I could give a dozen examples..

Best example is a Pruneau interception in the end-zone against MTL and the ref way behind the play throws a flag for interference? The entire stadium is stunned, and of course it gets overturned in moments as he never even touched him. The ref had no business calling it, but like many others seemed fishy.

Lets get it right, that all!

The important thing is the rule going forward. A return to sanity. A return to letting the players play. Sure there will be infractions missed but in the end it balances out in favour of the game and the fans.

On-field officiating obviously needs to be improved as well, but that will take time and investment by the league. Big kudos to the new Commissh for listening to the fans and recognizing this as a priority!

It’s the amount of TV timeouts. One game here in Ottawa, there was still over 7 mins left in the 1st quarter and we were on our 5th TV timeout. I really didn’t have a problem with teams having 2 or 3 challenges per game. My issue was the command centre inability to get things right, and the what could be challenged. Don’t like the DPI where the receiver isn’t part of the play or where the receiver runs straight into the DB.
