Toronto has added defensive linemen Cleyon Laing and Victor Butler to the six-game injured list.
Each player suffered a knee injury with Laing having to be carted off the field when it happened. The Canadian interior presence has six tackles, three sacks and one forced fumble in fives games. Meanwhile, Butler despite missing Week 6 – leads the league with seven sacks in five games. A first year CFLer, 65 games of NFL experience, the Oregon State product has 17 tackles and three forced fumbles too.
Both men will be missed along the defensive front. Canadian Jeff Finely, who is very capable, filled in for Laing against Saskatchewan and international Troy Davis did the same for Butler.
