Bombers’ draft pick Andy Mulumba released by Raiders

Canadian linebacker/defensive lineman Andy Mulumba has been waived by the Oakland Raiders, making him a free agent.

Mulumba was taken second overall by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the 2013 CFL Draft but signed with Green Bay in May of that year. He played in 22 games over the three seasons with the Packers, recording 30 tackles and one sack before signing with Kansas City in April of 2016. He was released in September then signed with Oakland in January.
