Saskatchewan pass catcher Caleb Holley has been put on the team’s six-game injured list, per sources.
After scoring the first touchdown in new Mosaic Stadium history, the 26-year-old, who originally suffered a shoulder injury in training camp, went down on the same side and he was seen with his left arm in a sling on the sideline last Saturday.
Holley was coming off a strong finish to his rookie season, playing 11 games and catching 56 balls for 655 yards and two touchdowns. He caught five passes for 55 yards in Week 1 and five more for 74 yards and one touchdown in Week 2 before the injury.
Fortunately, the Riders receiving corps is well stocked with talent.
