Riders place Canadian LB Henoc Muamba on six-game injured list

Saskatchewan has put rati0-breaking linebacker Henoc Muamba on the six-game injured list with a knee ailment.

Muamba made five tackles and one special teams tackle in Saskatchewan’s Week 1 loss to Montreal. Sources say Muamba had his knee drained after getting back from La Belle Province.

The Canadian linebacker signed with the Riders last October. After that he played in the final five games on the regular season in 2016, posting 18 tackles, nine special teams tackles, two sacks and two forced fumbles.
