Calgary quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell engaged in a little Twitter smack talk with Ottawa defensive back Serderius Bryant after Friday’s 31-all tie between the two teams.
Great game 1! Wish we could have finished that. But #10 from @REDBLACKS , I don’t know your name… but you gotta … YOU DONT PLAY!

He apparently figured it out….
#10 @INTREPIDITY_BG from @REDBLACKS didn’t even make the stat sheet! Oh wait… a 15 yard penalty. STOP TALKING!

Whatever he may have said on the field, Bryant, who is in his second year with the Redblacks as a back up linebacker and special teams player, wasn’t willing to engage on social media.
I don’t get into social media beef, I’m sorry.

Mitchell is right in that Bryant’s stat sheet isn’t particularly gaudy: eight career games played, 11 defensive tackles, seven special teams takedowns. He did, however, have a fumble recovery in the 2016 Grey Cup game and is now the proud owner of a particularly nice piece of jewellery as a result of Ottawa’s win over Mitchell’s Stampeders in that contest.
Predictably, Redblacks fans chirped Mitchell – who used social media to accuse the Riders of cheating last year – but he got some support from former teammate Nik Lewis, now with the Montreal Alouettes.
I love this Bo Levi, win lose or draw keep gun slinging. Keep talking that shit. It’s Ur confidence that makes u

Meanwhile, current and former Redblacks came to Bryant’s defence…

Keep it on the field please!!!!!

While this certainly qualifies as Twitter beef, it is not particularly good Twitter beef… kind of like regular season ties in the CFL.
