Absolutely! The coldest game ever was the one I attended in Calgary in 1975! It was so cold and windy I had trouble moving my lips to talk and my wineskin froze and broke off at the neck. LOL

I had the most fun in Vancouver too but to me, it’s the game first. Same with half time shows, who cares? It’s about the game. I guess that’s why I also prefer the Western Final (assuming we are in it) to even the Grey Cup game. Aside from the obvious (we win the championship) the Western Final had more atmosphere at the game than the GC. Personally, I do not care about the partying at all, never have but I know I am different than most in that regard. I wanna watch the game and remember being there LOL.

Not to mention the fact you could watch the game without freezing your tail off.

How do you shine 50 year old rust? I went to a game there with my dad once when I lived in Calgary. The same stadium. That was in 1968 and it was not even brand new then I don’t think LOL.

I gained 20 pounds since then and I’d be afraid to sit in the upper deck.

Great comment Canada inns was a dump but I enjoyed the grey cup there better than IGF

I equate a Grey Cup experience to a New Years Eve party that lasts 4 days with the game itself being midnight.

Have you not been to a Grey Cup? The party starts several days before the Game. We usually arrive early Thursday and depart Monday. Yes its dead after the game but our “issue” was on Friday night. It was too miserable out to walk to where we were staying.
