The Canadian Football League held a supplemental draft at 11 a.m. Monday morning.
Husson University defensive back Rick Orio was the lone player available and he did not get picked up. That means Orio is a free agent and can sign with any team. Being a Canadian rookie he could be a non-counter for training camp roster purposes if added by a club.
Orio was a four-year starter and three-time team captain for the Eagles, playing in 37 games making 146 tackles, eight pass break-ups, six interceptions, six tackles for loss, recovered five fumbles, made one sack and forced one fumble.
