Riders agree to terms with draft pick Dariusz Bladek

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have agreed to terms with offensive lineman Dariusz Bladek, their second round pick in the 2017 CFL Draft.

The Florida native played his football at Bethune-Cookmam university and only became a Canadian citizen last year after he casually mentioned to a Calgary Stampeders scout that his mother Joyce was born north of the border.

Bladek performed well at the CFL Combine in March and was pegged at No. 10 in the final version of the CFL scouting bureau. The Riders took him with the 11th overall pick.
