3DownNation was honoured at the Ontario Newspaper Awards on Saturday night, winning in the Online Multimedia Special Project category.
“If 3DownNation is a one stop website for everything CFL, it’s because founder and editor, Drew Edwards, included journalists and knowledgable bloggers from across Canada to provide perspective on every team,” judge Tim McKenna wrote. “This innovative site includes CFL news, analysis, photos podcasts and insightful columns dealing with CFL issues on and off the field.”
Edwards and 3DownNation senior reporter Justin Dunk were on hand to receive the honour, which was part of the 63rd annual awards ceremony that saw journalists from across the province honoured in more than 30 categories.
Site is a group effort, to say the least. Props @BlueBomberTalk @JoshSmith_82 @buzrbe @JGasson_21 @DarrellDavisSK @RedBlackGade @FifthQtr https://t.co/ORIptDcpkq
