The Argos signed Canadian offensive lineman Jeff Perrett on Thursday, according to Postmedia’s Scott Mitchell.
Toronto general manager Jim Popp and head coach Marc Trestman reunite with a familiar face. Perrett was drafted by Popp, third round, 24th overall, while in Montreal back in 2006 and he played for the Alouettes through the 2016 season and became a free agent in January when new Montreal general manager Kavis Reed let him go.
The 2015 CFL East all-star is an 11-year veteran.
