The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed national fullback Aaron Milton to a two-year deal, per sources.
Milton has played 14 games over the past three seasons with the Edmonton Eskimos and has one carry for four yards in his CFL career. Though listed as a fullback, he could could serve as a back up to Kienan LaFrance, the Canadian running back who was signed by Saskatchewan earlier on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old Whitby, Ont. native played running back at the University of Toronto playing eight games his senior season in 2013, rushing for 603 yards and one touchdown. He was a second round pick (No. 15 overall) in the 2014 CFL Draft.
