Canadian LB Beau Landry signs with Stampeders

Canadian linebacker Beau Landry has signed a two-year contract with the Calgary Stampeders, per sources.

The 25-year-old was a first-round pick, eighth overall by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He spent three seasons in the Hammer playing in 36 games and made 28 special teams tackles to go with two forced fumbles and one defensive stop.

Landry brings special teams value and gives depth behind starting Canuck linebacker Alex Singleton.
