Stamps leading receiver Marquay McDaniel agrees to extension with Calgary

Veteran receiver Marquay McDaniel has agreed to a two-year extension with the Stampeders, per sources.

Year one of the deal will see McDaniel make around $150,000 and the second $160,000.

The 32-year-old led Calgary in catches (83) and yards (1,074) with four touchdowns in 2016. McDaniel has produced 1,000-yard receiving campaigns in three of the last four seasons with the Stamps. 2016 CFL MOP, quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell was reportedly “banging the table” to see his reliable target brought back to Cowtown.
