Brooks, 25, was set to become a free agent on Tuesday and was considered one of the top American defensive linemen available. He’s the latest in a string of re-signings by B.C. general manager Wally Buono in recent days.
Brooks was West Division all-star in 2015 while injuries limited him to just 13 games last season.
