Bombers release Keith Shologan (and why they did it)

The Bombers have released Canadian defensive tackle Keith Shologan in a cap saving measure after signing him to a big free agent deal last off-season.


Shologan made 22 tackles and added two sacks in 18 games with the Bombers in 2016. He’s played nine CFL seasons with Saskatchewan, Calgary and Winnipeg amassing 190 tackles and 25 sacks in 140 games.

The Bombers also released national running back Pascal Lochard.
