Grey Cup champion defensive back inks pact with Eagles

Ottawa Redblacks defensive back Mitchell White has signed a contract with the Philadelphia Eagles, per the player himself.

Excited to say I am now a Philadelphia Eagle! Looking forward to the opportunity to play football for such a great organization!#NFL

White, a 2016 East Division all-star, recorded 38 tackles and three interceptions in 14 games with Ottawa and started at corner in the Redblacks’ 2016 Grey Cup victory.
