Regina receiver Mitchell Picton attending NFL regional combine

Regina Rams receiver Mitchell Picton will attend the NFL regional combine in Minnesota on Saturday, March 4.

The Regina native recorded 58 catches for 834 yards – both ranking second in Canadian university football – and scored 11 touchdowns, which led all USports players in majors last season. Picton was named a first-team All-Canadian and becomes part of an exclusive Rams group with Jason Clermont, Chris Bauman, Chris Getzlaf and Addison Richards to earn those honours.

Picton was not ranked on the initial CFL scouting bureau, but made the list at No. 20 in December.
