Ottawa Redblacks receiver Greg Ellingson worked out for the NFL’s Chicago Bears today.
Ellingson finished fifth in the CFL in receiving yards last season with 1,260 on 76 catches to go with four touchdowns, then added a 26-yard touchdown catch against Edmonton is the East Final and seven catches for 85 yards in Ottawa’s Grey Cup win. The Tampa, Fla. native has played 56 games over four seasons for Hamilton and Ottawa and has been named an East Division all-star the last two years.
The 27-year-old is set to become a CFL free agent in February.

According to Vancouver radio station News 1130, the New Orleans Saints worked out eight CFL players today, including B.C. Lions linebacker Adam Bighill, Redblacks defensive back Forrest Hightower, Winnipeg defenders Tony Burnett and Khalil Bass and Riders defensive back Otha Foster.
