					<description><![CDATA[Don Cherry pointed out on Coaches Corner at least 10 years that a simple elbow pad that used to be made from leather was now hard plastic and instead of just protecting the elbow, it was now a weapon. Crosby received one of his concussions this way. What is more important, the elbow or the brain.

					<description><![CDATA[I don&#039;t think head injuries will ever be completely eliminated, football being a physical game, but I for one would like to see the league at least explore what the game would like if they decided to take the head out of the game: as in introducing rugby-style tackling and going back to the headgear.]]></description>
