Toronto police have arrested a Brantford man in connection with an alleged sexual assault that occurred during Sunday’s Grey Cup at BMO Field.
Howard Ferguson, 45, is charged with one count of sexual assault.
According to police, the incident took place just outside the main entrance of BMO Field shortly after 10 p.m. when the suspect approached at 32-year-old woman from behind and sexually assaulted her. He was wearing a No. 44 Ticats jersey, a black-and-yellow Hamilton Tiger-Cats scarf and black-and-yellow pants.
In a release, police expressed thanks the media and the public for their assistance.
