There wasn’t any statements during the year to bring back concerns about whiny Hank this year. Plus while I didn’t like how he approached expressing it – some of what he was upset about, I can understand.

As for “bad Hank”, that is unfortunately the risk.

I’d prefer good Hank and good Harris to show up as I am sick of the steady stream of how much stronger the West is despite the few number of blowout GC games.

As much as I didn’t like Hank’s hatchet job … I am far more bothered by the pundits as well as posters here overvaluing the regular season record and repeating again how the the Eastern cross over is a cake walk.

I make no guarantees for the GC but as I posted elsewhere, I am/was cheering for the RedBlacks.

Funny that with the easy time Edmonton was alleged to have by going the Eastern cross-over route … it took a combination of a questionable holding call plus a last second FG to beat Hamilton. Then, it took two RedBlacks mistakes to give them a chance to get back in the game before a depth RedBlack player slammed the door.

Now to figure out who to cheer for the GC. I expect the talk will be the same as 2014 … “Can the RedBlacks make a game of it?”, so I suspect I’ll be rooting for a RedBlacks win.

Let’s see – Hamilton beat Edmonton once the lost to Edmonton yet had a good chance to beat them about ninety seconds left in the ESF.

Ottawa beat Edmonton twice.

The Eastern crossover team is 3-9 and 0-2 going into this game.

I know there’s been lots of press about how Edmonton is going to clean the Eastern team’s clock but is it really being a “homer” to pick Ottawa?

In the games I’ve watched this season – Edmonton, Hamilton and Ottawa have looked really close in what they can do on the field.

Enough of the whiny Hank, get over it. Yes he has whined in the past, but also give credit where credit is due. He played a great game today. He’s earned some respect. I assume I’ll get a ton of responses about bad Hank now.

Good point Eddy. It sucks when most of the other writers at least have some awareness of the other teams and are able to share a more balanced blog posting.

Out west … maybe BC could get some of the limelight with post-season success.
