Ticats have agreed to terms with former Argo receiver Kevin Elliott

The Ticats are finalizing an agreement with former Argonauts receiver Kevin Elliott, according to CFL sources.

Elliott was one of four receivers released by Toronto earlier this week. He has 23 catches for 294 yards and two touchdowns in seven games this season after posting 50 catches, 642 yards and eight touchdowns last year.

The Ticats receiving corps has been ravaged by injury, with Chad Owens out for the season with a broken foot and Luke Tasker having missed the last two games. Like Owens and Tasker, the 6-foot-3 Elliott can play inside making it a good fit for Hamilton.
