The 2017 National Canadian Football League Combine will be held in Regina, per sources.
Toronto has hosted the annual scouting event since 2000. The combine brings the top 50 or so prospects for the coming draft together for a three-day showcase with personnel men around the CFL. It’s the biggest off-season event put on by the league each year.
March 23 to 26 sounds like the weekend the CFL has pinpointed. Invitees generally arrive in the host city on Thursday or Friday morning in advance of a weekend filled with interviews, testing – mental and physical – and padded football drills on Sunday. That itinerary could change for Regina.
